About the additional ingredients in GcMAFplus® creams

As well as GcMAF, all of our transdermal skin creams contain a range of other supplementary ingredients. These are included to enhance the transdermal absorption process, improve the carrying capacity of GcMAF within the body and support a wide range of other functions. We have 2 ranges of skin creams – Original and Natural. Each of these ranges shares the same additional ingredients outlined below.

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice)

Is well known for its natural healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in amino acids, antioxidants, Vitamin A, C & E.

Avocado Oil

Rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, Vitamins A, D & E. Avocado oil stimulates collagen production, is highly moisturising and soothing on the skin.

Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter)

A solid mass at room temperature that smells like chocolate. Cocoa Butter is rich in phytochemicals, which have been known to improve blood flow to the skin and protect against UV rays. Cocoa Butter is also high in essential fatty acids that are hydrating and nourishing.

Coconut Oil

Is a white solid fat at room temperature containing medium chain fatty acids known for there deeply moisturising qualities and Lauric Acid for its antimicrobial properties that can protect skin from bacteria. This oil is good for reducing inflammation and helping to heal wounds.

Frankincense (Carterii Frereana Sacra)

Is an ancient oil made from the resin of the Boswellia tree, with a spicy woody scent. With its powerful anti inflammatory, antiseptic and microbial properties it has been used for centuries to protect healthy cells, boost the immune system and help kill off bacteria and germs.

Glycerin (Glycerine)

Is a colorless and odorless plant based oil that acts as an emollient locking in moisture to the skin. Glycerin suits every skin type and has been known for its amazing healing abilities whilst being gentle and helping to soothe inflammation and redness.

Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil)

Is a golden liquid wax rich in vitamin E & B-complex, high in antioxidants while being gentle and non-irritating. Jojoba mimics the skin’s natural oils and is known for balancing oily skin, soothing sensitive skin and hydrating dry skin.

Natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

Is a group of fat soluble essential nutrients with antioxidant effects. Vitamin E has been known to support healthy immune and cell function and skin health.

Rosehip Oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil)

Rich in skin nourishing vitamins, essential fatty acids, antioxidants and phenols. This oil has been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties whilst also being used for wound healing and in the reduction of scars due to its regenerative properties on skin and cell tissue. It is also moisturizing, skin brightening and evens out skin tone.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter)

A solid fatty oil rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, Vitamins E, D, pro vitamin A & Allantoin. Shea butter is moisturizing, with healing, protective and anti-inflammatory properties.

Sorbitan Olivate

Is an emulsifier derived from the fatty acids of olive oil and dehydrated sugar and is used to improve the spreadability of a product. It is known for its anti ageing properties and is moisturising and hypoallergenic.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunis Amygdalus Dulcis Oil)

A gentle oil that is hypoallergenic, with anti-inflammatory boosting properties. It is high in vitamin E, A, fatty acids, protein, potassium and zinc. This oil is used to improve complexion, skin tone and can help protect skin from UV radiation.

Original Cream Range Ingredients

Acetyle Hexapeptide-8 Solution

These peptides are active ingredients that contains Matrikines – peptide molecules that facilitate cutaneous restructuring and repair by activating the genes involved in the process of intercellular matrix renewal and cell proliferation. Through this activity, the Matrikines effectively restructure and smooth the surface and deeper layers of the skin, which results in a drastic reduction of the depth, density and surface area of wrinkles.

Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride

This is primarily included for helping the transdermal absorption of the ingredients in the creams through the skin. Acting as an emollient, it helps moisturize and protect the skin as well as dispersing the cream to better penetrate the epidermis layer.

Caprylyl Glycol

Is a plant extract that has moisturizing and anti-microbial properties.

Cetearyl Alcohol

Is a white waxy, solid material that is a gentle mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohols and works as an emollient, emulsifier and thickener. This product is non-irritating.

CoEnzyme Q10

Is a fat-soluble vitamin like substance that is naturally found in the human body, however, levels of Q10 decrease with age. This powerful antioxidant fights Free radicals, helps target cell regeneration and provides anti-ageing and skin soothing benefits.


Is comprised of polysaccharide and glucose that has water-binding properties for the skin, is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. This ingredient helps to brighten, soothe and hydrate the skin.


Is a clear viscous substance that is naturally found in the human body. This powerful antioxidants protects skin from harsh chemicals, environmental damage and UV rays. The use of HA in skin products has been known to promote healthier and more supple skin, retain collagen, speed wound healing, promote skin cell renewal, re-hydrate and calm skin while improving its texture and appearance.

Macadamia Oil (Macadamia Ternifolia)

Is a lightweight oil that is rich in oleic acid (Omega 9), linoleic acid (Omega 6) and palmitoleic acid (Omega 7). Macadamia Oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, slows the signs of ageing and improves the appearance of scars, sunburn and minor skin irritations while keeping skin and hair hydrated.

Vitamin A Palmitate (Retinyl Palmitate)

A saturated fatty acid that belongs to the retinoid family and is an important vitamin for skin health. It is known for its ability to boost collagen, encourage skin cell renewal and decrease pore size.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid)

Is a member of the B-complex vitamin family and is an integral part of optimal skin function. It is known for its ability to hydrate, soothe, heal and restore skin health.

Vitamin C

Is a powerful and effective antioxidant that boosts skin’s collagen, fights free radicals and the damage caused by UV rays. It is beneficial in protecting skin from the visible effects of pollution, while lightening, evening out and brightening skin tone.
